In addition to the construction of pipe-jacked, lined tunnels and blind bored vertical shafts, Abergeldie’s tunnelling expertise and achievements include tunnel construction and reconstruction using more conventional excavation and boring methods.Our rehabilitation of a rough-hewn, unlined tunnel carrying a water main from the Cotter Dam near Canberra earned a 2009 Civil Contractors Federation ACT Hitachi Earth Award.
