Project Description:
Abergeldie was contracted to reconstruct the southern approach to the flood damaged bridge, which provides and important access link to the Ipswich central business district. Works include removal of flood debris, re-grading of embankment batters, installation of rock mattresses and plastream pipe sections, and replacement of rock pitching to the abutment. The project also requires asphalt pavement, slab and culvert removal works, installation of storm water culverts, guardrail and footpath installation.
