Lucinda Bulk Sugar Terminal Repair Works

After Cyclone Yasi swept through North Queensland in 2011, Abergeldie was engaged by Queensland Sugar Limited to repair their severely damaged Lucinda Bulk Sugar Terminal. The Lucinda Bulk Terminal is a 5.7km long jetty and bulk sugar loader at Lucinda located, 150km north of Townsville required a fast-tracked program of repair works to get the facility back and running in time for the 2012 sugar harvest.

Winner of the 2013 CCF Earth Awards, Category 4, both in Queensland and nationally.
